I get food bored in January. Seasonal produce is limited, which makes for trying vegetarian times and the thrill of winter squashes and soups has worn off. To make things more exciting, I’m trying to go for a month with no dinner repeats (except for leftover days, obv), using mostly seasonal produce (I cheat on the tomatoes, but they’re organic), and making only one trip to Wegmans a week. The dinners also have to be prepared in a reasonable amount of time (or work for two days if they take more than an hour). We’ll see how it goes.
