Week Three, Day Seven: Feb. 3rd

Breakfast for Dinner!
Belgian Waffles
Tonight I had breakfast for dinner. So decadent! My favorite waffle recipe comes from Bittman's HTCEV and contains yeast, so I mixed up the batter this morning to let it rise during the day.

I topped it with New Hampshire maple syrup, a banana, and organic strawberries.  Delish.

Sadly, I think my waffle maker is dying.  And it's not yet two years old!  After working beautifully for a long time, it has started to cook unevenly, leaving the outside edges more cooked than the center.  Sniff.
RIP Presto Waffle Maker?
